Chris believes that building companies that address meaningful problems is one of the highest callings – as well as being one of the most difficult. Chris is passionate about partnering with teams seeking to build companies that can make a difference on a massive scale.
In working with entrepreneurs Chris draws upon his years of experience as an investor and investment banker working with companies across a range of sectors and stages of development.
Chris was previously an Investment Partner at Omidyar Network focusing on venture investments in technology and financial services companies that empower individuals and small businesses. Prior to joining Omidyar Network, Chris worked at JPMorgan as an investment banking client officer covering enterprise software and services companies. Chris began his career as a private equity investment professional with JPMorgan Capital Corp., where he helped lead more than $450 million of financial services related investments.
Chris received a BS from Duke University, where he majored in biomedical engineering and English literature.
